This is the month of communication – all kinds of it – for the purpose of socializing, voicing out pain, expressing anger at injustice, and/or to change outmoded ways of expressing ourselves. It is also a month where Universe will provide a chance for us to learn new ways of solving old problems, especially when we have differing opinions. The truth is good communicating is key to having a good relationship and not having this go smoothly can be painful with your partner, with your children, and/or even with one of your coworkers, etc.
T-square between Black Moon Lilith, Chiron and Mercury: This is very representative of the racial tensions brewing in USA in the aftermath of the Micheal Brown and Eric Garner’s incidents. There has been undeniably a lot of backlash and anger. Black Moon Lilith is a raw dark energy that comes up when we feel that we have been given the shorthand or been treated in an unfair manner. Whether the allegations are true or not, it is symbolic of a very angry intense vindictive energy that has been created in response to being wronged. In aspect with Chiron and Mercury, BML’s rage is a means to voice out the pain. If you have planets in the mid mutable degrees like Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo or Gemini then you may feel this energy playing out in your personal life. Do not be surprised if people around you at home or at work are extra sensitive about being treated in a fair manner. December 6th is especially important with the full moon as it can throw light on these issues and increase awareness. Actually this energy can be used to express any pent up resentment in a creative manner. It can be a good opportunity if used well especially with help of the upcoming Uranus Pluto square.
Uranus Pluto Square getting exact on December 14, 2014: This is the 6th of the 7 times that these 2 major outer planets are getting exact. By now those with planets or angles in mid cardinals of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn probably know what this duo means and if you are one those mid cardinal people that haven’t experienced this energy, then either you are really blessed or are in huge denial. Some of the uprisings we are seeing in the recent past have Uranus written all over them and each time the square gets exact there is some tension that brews up around us, in personal life and/or around the world. USA may experience more of it as its Sun in Cancer and Saturn in Libra is part of the t-square with Uranus and Pluto.
Even on a personal level, this square is really about pushing for change – the much needed transformation to make things more functional. The area that is affected depends on the area of the chart that is being affected by the Uranus Pluto square. Those that offer more resistance will probably have more pain and struggle than those that can go along with the flow and own this transformation process. Like I mentioned before in my first article on Uranus Pluto square “better get on that train before it gets on you” If you have a planet that is being aspected by this square, then think different ways in which you can channel this planet’s energy. For example if you have the Uranus Pluto triggering your Mars, then find some physical outlet that can challenge you like maybe starting a new workout regimen, etc., or if you have your Venus aspected, then find new ways of relating to people in your life. This Uranus Pluto square is also going to be squaring the north node and south node in Libra and Aries respectively. This gives clue to the need for negotiations and communication (Libra) instead of just using brute force (Aries). With South node conjunct Aries there may be a tendency to stick to the old ways of questioning and rebelling but the idea here is to cross over and incorporate more of the north node Libra’s intellectual reasoning. The nodes are a point of connection and so this brings focus on our relationships with others and how we can change them to make it more functional.
Jupiter Trine Sun and Mercury: Second week of December Jupiter trines with Sun and Mercury helps to explore different means of communication and great time to learn new techniques. This offers another opportunity to change our outmoded attitude and ways of thinking and anything new and transformative at this time will get you bonus points from the Uranus Pluto square. You may suddenly become aware of someone around you, at home or at work with whom the communication is not going smooth. Maybe there is more than needed yelling, arguing, whining, etc., and it is not really working for both of you. This would be the time to work on it by bringing up the issue and maybe changing your ways that may in turn facilitate change in the other person.
Astrea in Pisces Trine Saturn in Scorpio: In its last phase in Scorpio, Saturn’s focus is to re-structure the ways we pass judgments on ourselves and others. In a mundane level the recent incidents regarding law enforcement officials is going to facilitate nationwide re-evaluation of the judicial system. This is going to be Saturn’s last goal before moving on to Sagittarius which interestingly is also related to law.
